25th annual meeting of the WHO Regions for Health Network in Aachen (Germany), Maastricht (Netherlands), Liege (Belgium) and Hasselt (Belgium). 26-28 June 2019
The 25th annual meeting of the WHO Regions for Health Network (RHN) will concentrate on the operationalization of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the subnational level, with a specific focus on three main topics:
- equity;
- participatory approaches; and
- human resources for health.
Through participatory and interactive methods, policy-makers, health professionals and citizens from all over Europe will exchange information about their recent experiences in and progress towards implementing the 2030 Agenda, and discuss how they can improve their collaboration in this area.
The Meuse-Rhine Euroregion will host the event, which will be organized jointly by the WHO Regions for Health Network, the European Committee of the Regions, the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion and the euPrevent |EMR Foundation.
To reflect the diversity of RHN and the participants in the meeting, as well as the uniqueness of Meuse-Rhine Euroregion, the programme will unfold in four different locations: Aachen, Germany; Maastricht, Netherlands; and Liège and Hasselt, Belgium.
