AEBR Task Force Cross-Border Health recently received a request from the European Commission (DG Sante) to provide an overview of cross-border patient mobility. And of the reimbursement system used for planned healthcare treatments in a number of border regions. The result will serve to complement existing data on cross-border healthcare used for the Health Directive (2011/24/EU) and Social Security Regulations. We assume that the EMR region as well as EPECS will be involved in this study.
